1. Purpose
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between AITOMOBILE Co., Ltd. (the "Company") and users (the "User") in relation to the use of the stac service (the "Service") provided by the Company.
2. Definitions
"Service" refers to all services provided by the Company through mobile applications or other platforms, including but not limited to focus time tracking (Focus Tracking), activity visualization, collaboration features, and personalized analytics.
"User" refers to any individual who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
"Focus Tracking" refers to the functionality that measures, records, and analyzes the User’s focus time, activity duration, and related behavioral data.
"Virtual Items" refer to digital items such as bricks, points, badges, rewards, or other in-service assets provided within the Service.
"Subscription Service" refers to paid services provided for a defined period in exchange for a fee.
3. Effect and Modification of Terms
These Terms become effective upon being posted within the Service or otherwise made available to Users.
The Company may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable laws.
Any amended Terms shall be announced along with the effective date and reasons for revision. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If the User does not agree to the revised Terms, the User must discontinue use of the Service and may request account deletion.
The Company will provide at least 7 days’ notice (or 30 days for changes that materially affect Users) prior to any modification of these Terms.
4. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. However, mandatory laws of the User’s country of residence may apply and take precedence where required. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.
5. Provision of Service
The Company provides the following services:
(1) Focus Tracking
(2) Activity visualization and analytics
(3) Squad-based collaboration and ranking systems
(4) AI-based personalized analysis and coaching
(5) Invitation and reward systems
(6) Any additional services provided by the Company
The Company may modify, add, or discontinue parts of the Service as necessary for operational or technical reasons.
6. Modification, Suspension, and Termination of Service
The Company may modify, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Service due to technical, operational, or other legitimate reasons.
The Company will provide prior notice where possible; however, immediate changes may be made in urgent situations.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for damages arising from such changes or termination.
7. User Obligations
The User shall not engage in any of the following activities:
Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
Unauthorized use of another person's account
Manipulation of rankings, rewards, or system data
Obtaining Virtual Items or benefits through fraudulent means
Infringing upon the rights of others or violating laws
Any other behavior deemed inappropriate by the Company
8. Account Restrictions and Enforcement
The Company may restrict, suspend, or terminate the User’s account without prior notice if the User violates these Terms or applicable laws.
The Company may revoke or invalidate any Virtual Items or rewards obtained through improper means.
The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the User due to such actions.
9. Virtual Items
ALL VIRTUAL ITEMS HAVE NO MONETARY VALUE AND DO NOT CONSTITUTE ANY LEGAL OR PROPERTY RIGHTS.
Virtual Items are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other assets.
The Company may modify or discontinue Virtual Items, including their availability and conditions of use.
Any improperly obtained Virtual Items may be revoked by the Company.
10. Paid Services and Billing
Payments and refunds are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective policies.
The Company is not the merchant of record for such transactions.
Subscription services may automatically renew unless canceled by the User in accordance with platform policies.
If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period.
11. AI-Based Features Disclaimer
The Company provides AI-based analysis, recommendations, and coaching for informational purposes only.
Such features do not constitute professional advice (including but not limited to medical, psychological, or financial advice).
The Company does not guarantee any specific outcomes or results.
The User is solely responsible for decisions made based on the Service.
12. Public Information and User Interaction
The User acknowledges and agrees that activity data, focus time, statistics, and rankings may be visible to other Users in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
The Company acts only as a platform provider and shall not be responsible for disputes between Users or issues arising from publicly shared data.
13. Disclaimer of Liability
The Company shall not be liable for:
(1) Data inaccuracies, omissions, or technical errors
(2) Service interruptions caused by system or network failures
(3) Disputes between Users
While the Company strives to provide reliable Service, it does not guarantee absolute accuracy or continuity.
14. Third-Party Services
The Company may utilize third-party services, including but not limited to cloud infrastructure, analytics tools, and notification services, to provide and operate the Service.
15. Miscellaneous
Any matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws and industry practices.
